PACT International Student Programme

What is our International Programme?

The Programme

Each year we accept applications from students around the world to study at our schools for between 1 term - 2 years.

The success of our programme is based on the full integration of these students into the family lives of fellow UK students. Students study with us from Spain, Poland, Chile, France, Hungary, Ecuador, Germany, Hong Kong and many other countries.

Whilst in the UK our International students follow the same curriculum as our domestic students, this is however enhanced with additional English as a Foreign Language lessons in order to study for either Cambridge or IELTS exams.

In order to ensure students make the most of this experience we organise and run outings to see London's landmarks as well as a trip to the theatre each term. Friendships are forged that last a lifetime.

The programme primarily focuses on 11 - 18 year old's but we will accept younger students by exception.

Application

The application process to join our International Student Programme can be followed below:

Please click here to download and complete the application form.

We also ask you to complete a student information form which helps us understand a little about your son / daughter so we can find a suitable host family for them to live with in the UK.

Finally we ask for copies of your son / daughters latest school reports, we require this to ensure they can access the school curriculum whilst studying with us.

This information should be sent to us at International@pactschools.org.uk. Please also contact us at this address if you would like to find out more before applying.

Girls will study at The Laurels School whilst boys will at study The Cedars School. Both schools are co-located in Upper Norwood and school transportation will be looked after by us.

The Laurels and The Cedars hold child student sponsorship licences; any student staying for longer than six months will need a visa and the relevant school will assist with the application process. Students staying for six months or less do our international student programme, joining in lessons with domestic students, benefitting from an enriching tailored programme of events and following a language programme.
